Summer Photo Contest - Enter to Win Great Prizes!

Summer Photo Contest
Now that summer is here, it's time to get out and have some fun - you might win some cool prizes just for sharing a photo of yourself getting SHACC'd.

How to get SHACC'd:
  • Post a photo of you wearing a SHACC tee shirt.
Don't have a SHACC tee?
  • Write SHACC in the sand, in the wax on your surfboard, spelled out in rocks on the beach, or even on a hand-drawn sign, just be sure it says SHACC - and be creative, the more original the idea, the better!*
Once you have your photo, the rest is as easy as Like, Tag, and Win.

1. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram & Twitter
2. Tag your photo #SHACC @surfingheritage on Instagram or Facebook
3. That's're entered to win, we'll be giving away an original signed vintage 1960s Endless Summer 11"x17" poster ($600 retail value), and other cool prizes
1960s poster signed by Bruce Brown, Robert August and Mike Hynson
SHACC will choose a winner each month - in July, August and September - and announce them in our newsletter, on our website, Facebook page, and Instagram. Our Endless Summer signed poster grand prize winner will be announced September 30th.

Digital Watermarking of our images – Public Notice

As part of our commitment to protecting our image donors, the Surfing Heritage Foundation has begun using digital watermarking on ALL of our images, including those images seen on our website. This watermark is not visible to the eye, but is easily seen by many computer programs such at Photoshop and other image editing programs. In addition, we have also purchased a “watermark spider” that crawls the Internet specifically looking for any images that contain our SHF watermark. The Surfing Heritage Foundation is prepared to take the appropriate action should we find any illegal or unlicensed usage of images from our files.
