Surfing Heritage Gift Store moves to The OC Mart Mix

at The OC Mart Mix at SoCo
3313 Hyland, Ste. C
Costa Mesa, Ca 92626

714.556.3683

We're making a move! The Surfing Heritage Museum & Gift Store has moved from its location at South Coast Plaza West to its new home at The OC Mart Mix at SoCo. The retail space consists of a couple dozen, boutique style mini-stores, each with its own unique, design flavor.
We still have our headquarters in San Clemente
visiting hours are Mon-Sat, 11-4
Here's how SoCo's website describes it:
South Coast Collection, affectionately being called SoCo, is the only progressive shopping center of its kind in Orange County. With over 300,000 square feet of design showrooms and creative studios, SoCo offers the latest in a wide variety of trendsetting home furnishings and accessories as well as many other specialty retailers, all in one convenient place.

The new store at SoCo will be operating on limited hours while site construction takes place (for now, Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday from 10-4, we'll let you know once that changes).

Rusty Long's Big Wave Gun

Rusty Long dropping in at Todos on Dec. 21, 2005. This 9'2" Kaysen gun was Rusty's first board for riding waves in the 20+ range. After many seasons of use (and a few buckles in the bottom), he felt it was time to retire the board and that SHF would be a proper resting place. We agree! Photo: © Robert Brown

Digital Watermarking of our images – Public Notice

As part of our commitment to protecting our image donors, the Surfing Heritage Foundation has begun using digital watermarking on ALL of our images, including those images seen on our website. This watermark is not visible to the eye, but is easily seen by many computer programs such at Photoshop and other image editing programs. In addition, we have also purchased a “watermark spider” that crawls the Internet specifically looking for any images that contain our SHF watermark. The Surfing Heritage Foundation is prepared to take the appropriate action should we find any illegal or unlicensed usage of images from our files.
