Santa Barbara County Beach Club

This is a digital print of Renny Yaters Santa Barbara County Surf Club's beach colony at the Hollister Ranch. The Digital print took many hours to finish was a two-shot sequence taken by Jeff Kruthers in 1970, just days before the colony was burned to the ground by developers. The print is 20"x60" and printed on metal. It was donated by Jerry Wallner, who pieced the image together. It currently hangs as part of our Yater exhibit but it will eventually make its way over to where our Greenough kneeboard is on display.
